I can get ringtones using the .3g2 method but that doesn't help with text message tones. Also, ventones doesn't work either. Is there any other way without buying them?How do you get custom sms message tones on the lg rumor touch?

If the content is from other sites, most likely it will be in .rar or .zip file format, and you'll need to set up your sims 3 folders and download a program that can open them (don't worry, the programs are free and completely safe).
