How do I get music onto my LG Rumor touch?

i have the usb cord hooked to my pone and all but can some please to tell me what to do next. and if theres a website to download free music or can i use cds.

To get music from your computer to a phone using usb you need to have a microSD card installed on the phone. Using the cord, you connect the phone as mass storage device.



This is easy.



Insert the card into the phone.



Plug the cord into the phone's charger port, the other end into a usb plug (like an iPod).



On the phone, go into settings and tools, then tools,



Look for something that says USB Mass Storage - click that.



On your PC screen you should see a box that asks you (among other things) if you want to browse the folders/contents of a newly connected drive (that's the card on the phone; the PC has just detected it). You want to browse the folders.



The card will pop up on your screen as a removable drive (which is what it is).



Explore the card through the PC - you should see a number of folders there. You want to copy your music to the "my music" folder.



Then disconnect.



As for getting free music on your PC to begin with...



I can't advise you waht to do w/o Yahoo removing my answer.



The big problem is that somebody is bound to recommend you use peer-share software, esp. frostwire. These programs can endanger your computer, and they are not even that good at getting free music.



The only good peer-share had been winmx, but even that seems to be having issues these days.



For similar reasons I would not suggest you use Torrenst since you still have to fo to torrents sites where it seems they're always trying to trick you into downloading stuff ofther than torrent files.



You can easily copy music files from people you know using a flash drive or by "ripping" from CD's using windows media player. these aren't strictly speaking legal but are not as clearly illegal (or dangerous) as rile sharing.How do I get music onto my LG Rumor touch?

Go on youtube, get the track up which you want the copy and past the url into the box then press convert video. It will then turn it into mp3.



Then when you plug your usb into the computer or laptop it should come up with a drop down list, i go down to open file to view items and then drag the music from my laptop to phone memory card. Hope i helped.
