Problem with Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch camera?

Well I got my used Rumor Touch for christmas and ever since then I can't zoom in with the camera!! Can anyone please help??! Is it like this because I bought it from my friend?? Please help and Thank You :)!!Problem with Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch camera?

Check your camera settings on the phone. If it is set to the highest resolution, the Zoom is disabled.

Main Menu - Photos + Video - Camera - select the %26gt; symbol to the right - Settings - Resolution. If it is set to 2M (2 Mega Pixel) then try High. Press Done and try the zoom feature.
