How many text characters can be sent at once on Rumor Touch?

I'm talking about the Rumor Touch on Virgin Mobile. ;) How many text characters can I send on the Rumor Touch at one time without the phone denying any more characters to be typed? Like, some phones and myspace status update boxes only allow 160 or 140 characters to be typed before you are forced to send that message the way it is because it refuses to allow anymore characters/letters. How many can the Virgin Mobile Rumor Touch type before you HAVE to send that message?How many text characters can be sent at once on Rumor Touch?
Hi :) I'm pretty sure that when you go over the limit that it just starts another text message. So if you use all 160 characters then it will just say (2/2). If that is not the case then it is 160 characters. I used to have it on sprint not Virgin Mobile.
