What can I do about my Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch's texting issues?

I just bought a new Virgin Mobile Rumor Touch phone and when I text on it, my friends don't get alot of my texts that I send, and I don't get alot of their texts they send either...probably about half... What is probably causing this, and what can I do about it? Would taking out the battery and putting it back in help, maybe? What can I do about my Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch's texting issues?
there just fixing the network you see they got the network down for some plans then they released these beyond talk ones so they had to major upgrade there network in short time which means lots of glitches around 10000 they've got it now down to about 500- the network will soon be completely fixed and this problem will be a thing of the past. What can I do about my Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch's texting issues?

It seems like all of us who have bought the LG Rumour touch in the last week with them all have the same problem...and its driving me crazy all we can do for now is keep calling and putting the pressure on them. What can I do about my Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch's texting issues?
the phone carrier sucks. i bought one on friday and have had 3 new phones since and 2 different numbers and today is monday. they texting is the biggest problem. i recieve or others recieve about 30% of them. their customer service sucks u wait on the line and all they say is we will investigate and let u know in 24-72 hours. well i waited that long and same ****. im bringing the phone back to Best Buy tomorrow and getting my money back, going back to Net10 and never will recommend or talk good about SHITTY VIRGIN MOBILE!!!!!!
Try restarting it, if it does not work then just call your phone provider and tell them the issue and they will be able to help, and if they can't, they may just send you a new phone.
